My Model!

In class we have been learning about ancient Greece and part of our project is to make a model. I am going to make a Greek warrior which will be 18cm tall and about 4cm in width. I will start of by drawing it on a thin piece of cardboard and cutting it out then I will make it 3D by sticking papier mache to it. When it is dry I will paint it and stick paper to it. I will nead:

  • papier mache
  • thin cardboard
  • paint
  • colourd paper
  • pen or pencil
  • tissue paper
  • sparkle

I will use red, black, silver, green, brown, grey and blue. My model will be easy to carry because it won't be heavy.

Ancient Greece

Ancient Greece

In Athens the women did not have citizen rights and could not vote or take part in assembly. The women were taught how to run the the houshold if not they would work along side with the men in a family buisness.

Ancient greece created the olympic games in honour of Zeus and lots of people came to celebrate from all over Greece. The olympic games were held every four years.

The Corinthians made beautiful pottery without using paint but using a mixture of watery clay. They sold it for 200 years and soon became a rich and healthy trading centre.

My DVD review of The Wild!

It all starts in a wonderful zoo with many friendly animals and don't forget the funny ones! A little lion cub dreams of being a big strong lion and be able to raw the loudest of all the lions. His father is very incouraging to his son, but his son still can not raw. This DVD has a very good message hidden inside, to always try and don't stop until your proud of your self no matter what! The little lion cub gets very angry with himself and ends up in a animal rescue van traveling to some island! The cubs father goes on a rescue mission to find his son and takes with him a bunch of friends! He steals a boat and follows the van which is now on a big ship. Finally they arrive at the island and they all get lost. Most of them become prisoners and one becomes a king. The cub is already a prisoner so they work together and destroy the cave that they're held in and run to the rescue vans, because they find out that the vans were coming to rescue animals from an arrupting volcano in the island. The animals get home safely and I hope that taught the cub a lesson.
